About Us
Program Philosophy
Christian Weekday Program is a learning through play program based on the belief that children progress through a series of developmental stages in a supportive environment, which will motivate and stimulate their growth. The Director and staff have developed a curriculum that incorporates language arts, mathematics, science, literacy, and pro-social skills in an educationally appropriate center-based setting. Many activities used to develop large and small muscle control, eye-hand coordination, verbal skills, and creativity, will be part of the children's day.
Christian Weekday Program offers many opportunities for social interaction and seeks to strike a proper balance between responsibility and freedom, and conformity and individuality in a setting, which is conducive to establishing a positive self-image. Children will develop a sense of independence as they make friends and interact as part of the classroom and school community. We find joy in exploring and discovering the wonderful world God has created.
